Nick Jones, head of IBC and with over 35 years of experience in the nautical sector
Nick Jones has been immersed in the nautical industry for over 35 years, forging a reputation that spans several continents and generations of boat owners. His journey began in 1989 with Sunseeker Yachts, working with his first dealership in Cala d'Or, Mallorca. From his early days—cleaning boats, captaining new and used vessels, and selling new Sunseekers—Nick's dedication, determination, and passion for the sea laid the foundation for a long and respected career.
In 1993, his leadership qualities were recognized with his appointment as Sales Director, and just three years later, he took over as head of the business. Under his leadership, the dealership flourished, becoming a trusted brand not only in the Balearic Islands but also throughout Europe and beyond. Over the years, Nick has managed yacht sales and consulting globally, serving clients in the UK, Europe, the USA, Asia, and the Middle East.
When Sunseeker centralized its operations in London in 2011, Nick focused on consulting and the international pre-owned boat market, offering his extensive experience, honest advice, and exceptional service. His integrity, practicality, and deep industry knowledge have earned him the loyalty of countless repeat clients and the respect of his colleagues throughout the boating world.

Mallorca is a key hub for the nautical sector in the Mediterranean, with its own unique characteristics that are worth understanding.
